May 17-23, 2020, is the 46th annual National EMS Week, instituted by President Gerald Ford in 1974 to honor EMS practitioners and the important work they do in every community across our nation.

While many of us have the privilege of safe quarantine at home, EMS workers have stayed on the job, responding to accidents, fires, and other medical emergencies, serving the public and keeping us safe, even at risk to themselves.

In this uncertain time in particular, we wish to honor those whom we have lost to COVID-19 complications because of their tireless bravery and sacrifice.  https://www.acep.org/administration/ems-resources/emsweek/in-memorium/

LSP joins with all of the nation in extending our gratitude to EMS practitioners for their dedication and hard work.  You have our greatest respect.
