Medical Device Quality System Specialist

The Quality System Specialist will oversee, support, and ensure that quality system requirements are met in order to achieve and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.  A combination of on-site and remote work is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure company QMS is compliant with the appropriate internal and external regulatory requirements (including but not limited to FDA, ISO, MDD, EU MDR)
  • Maintain and improve quality systems, processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS
  • Ensure company compliance with the QMS
  • Conduct QMS training
  • Coordinate and prepare Management Review, including compiling, analyzing, trending and presenting data and QMS metrics
  • Identify improvements and inputs into the quality planning process
  • Provide support in external inspections/audits
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Manage and conduct process validations
  • Manage corrective and preventive action system
  • Manage supplier selection, evaluation and monitoring
  • Coordinate and manage QMS-related design control activities
  • Support Regulatory Department on:
    • Complaints, reportable events
    • Risk Management
    • Other, as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (CAPA, audits, Management Review, Quality Planning, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written, oral communication
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to, interpret, understand, and implement regulations and regulatory requirements
  • Technical writing, including reports, and protocols

 

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a science, engineering, or related discipline
  • Three years’ experience in a medical device environment or equivalent
  • Experience with product and process validation
  • Experience with design and development process and DHF requirements

Our Independent Sales Representatives are responsible for generating new business, identifying new opportunities by visiting customers such as hospitals, trauma centers, first responders, dental clinics, etc., and selling our products through the achievement of opportunity. The Independent Sales Representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image.

Educational Requirements

Medical sales experience preferred -3+ years of experience in sales required (outside sales required)

Job duties:

Research and monitor industry trends for hemostasis products and wound healing, and tissue growth technologies. Analyze statistical market data to identify market opportunities and develop marketing strategies for the company’s BloodSTOP iX products. Track marketing campaigns and sales data and prepare market reports. Collect and analyze lab testing data and user feedback for the company’s BloodSTOP iX products.

 

Requirements:

Work experience:
