LifeScience PLUS, Inc. attended and participated in the 12th Asia Pacific Burn Congress Conference on Aug 14-17, 2019 in Singapore. With our global team of 12, representing USA, Australia, UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Lebanon, we presented our revolutionary product BloodSTOP® iX Advanced Hemostat and WoundHEAL™ to international participants, and received an enthusiastic response. Recently, this product was awarded Blue Ribbon for “Best in Category for Hemostat and Wound Healing” by the 51st ABA 2019.

Dr. Stathis Poulakidas, MD, FACS (Division Chief of Burn Surgery, Cook County Health Burn Center, Chicago, IL, USA) and Dr. Thomas Xu, MD (Rush University Medical Center) each presented a lecture on the use of BloodSTOP® iX Hemostat and WoundHEAL™ for Burn and Trauma applications, discussing split-thickness skin graft donor site healing and minimizing intraoperative hemorrhage in wound debridement. The APBC medical professional attendees were very impressed with the technology and the clinical outcomes to date. The LSP booth had outstanding post-lecture traffic as attendees were interested in opening up discussions about potential opportunities with BloodSTOP® iX in their respective surgical burn practices.

LSP also hosted a private dinner event on the evening of Aug 15th at the Singapore landmark, Marina Bay Sands. Dr. Poulakidas presented an in-depth presentation focusing on the use of BloodSTOP® iX in burn and trauma surgery.  Outcomes from conference participation include physician evaluation of BloodSTOP® iX for burn treatment in 7 countries: Mongolia, Vietnam, UAE, Korea, Australia, Malaysia, and Japan.
