"Within seconds of breaking through a pane of glass, I was bleeding profusely from facial cuts and scrapes. Although I could slow the bleeding by applying pressure on the wound with tissue, there was no sign of clotting. Fortunately I had a sample BloodSTOP pad that I was able to find within a minute or two of the accident, and place over the primary cut. I was relieved at how quickly it stopped the bleeding, actually within a few seconds. Although no injury is pleasant, the soft gauze pad also provided a feeling of protection for the exposed tissue.
